The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will officially release on August 18, using a final version of the game that will contain improvements from any problems identified in the tech test. The Global Beta Test (GBT) will be starting on October 11th, 2022. Players can expect PvP matches with other participants, and be able to play as Victims (Leland, Connie, Sonny, and Ana) as well as The Cook, The Hitchhiker, and Leatherface from the Family. This tech test is open to the public and does not require an NDA, meaning that all players can freely stream, create content, and upload videos of the game.
